This is our longest programme and the one closest to an academic course of study. It combines advanced technical work across accounting, taxation and payroll with the professional skills that determine whether a technically capable accountant is promoted: ethics, business partnering, report writing and the ability to defend a judgement. It is designed for accountants with several years of experience who are preparing for senior responsibility, professional examinations, or both.
Who this course is for
- Accountants with two or more years of experience
- Candidates preparing for professional examinations
- Finance staff identified for promotion
- Organisations developing a finance talent pipeline
Learning objectives
By the end of the programme learners will be able to:
- Integrate reporting, tax and management accounting into a single professional view
- Apply a recognised ethical framework to real finance dilemmas
- Write finance reports that non-financial readers act on
- Business-partner effectively with operational colleagues
- Build a personal development plan towards professional qualification
