Most organisations keep their books in software; comparatively few keep them well. This programme covers the transition and the discipline: designing a chart of accounts that produces useful reports, controlling bank feeds and automated coding rules, reconciling everything that can be reconciled, and producing month-end reports that a manager can act on. Teaching is software-neutral, so the skills transfer between the packages used across the region.
Who this course is for
- Bookkeepers moving from manual to computerised records
- Accounts staff inheriting a badly maintained ledger
- Finance staff implementing or migrating accounting software
- Business owners reviewing their own bookkeeping
